Service is a relationship
How We Work:
We work closely with the homeowner by asking questions, developing ideas, and offering solutions. Most importantly, we know how to listen. We place great care in the documentation of our projects and continually strive to learn about new materials and building practices, and to stay current with technology.
How We Build:
Our studio places a high priority on construction supervision since this often defines the success or failure of a project. We collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure the best possible building experience. It is a blessing to work on the design and construction of someone’s home and we want the experience to reflect this privilege.
Our Partners
André DeJean
From a young age, André was introduced to the world of architecture by his father who not only encouraged him to write and draw like an architect, but to think like an architect. André graduated with honors from The University of Houston College of Architecture in 2005. During his final year of school, he was introduced to Reagan Miller, for whom he would create physical models of homes that Reagan would craft.
Immediately after graduating he had the privilege to work under Reagan’s leadership. This opportunity would lead to their partnership in 2013. In the fifteen years they worked together Reagan taught him how to become a “full Architect”. He learned that without the client, there is no architecture. It is the client’s heart and perspective that brings life to the home and depth to its character. With the sudden loss of his mentor, friend, and companion, André was handed the torch to continue the legacy that Reagan left behind – to design and above all, care.
Andrea Caicedo
Born and raised in Ecuador, she holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree and a Masters in Construction Management degree from the University of Houston. Andrea has extensive knowledge in residential design and construction and has been responsible for the design and management of multiple award-winning homes. Andrea is most proud of her close relationship with her team at Reagan & André Architecture Studio, and the friendships she gains with the families she designs for and the fellow artists she meets in the field.
Andrea is spearheading the launch of a new program honoring her mentor and life-long friend, Reagan Miller, which will serve to encourage and give grants to young Houston artists.
A new home requires hundreds of decisions; we help to organize and prioritize the questions.

Our team is comprised of experts, individuals, everyday people. We work closely to bring about the greatest results possible. In our eyes, good architecture is a result of continual collaboration.
In Memoriam of Reagan Miller
You were a gentle, kind, fearless leader that took us under your wings, mentored us, and shared your love for life and architecture. You brought us immeasurable joy and gave us the confidence and tools we need to create. As we see our path forward, we find ourselves knowing you will always be with us, in spirit and through André. We will stay the course, both because of your teachings and in awe of your legacy.
Maggie White
Maggie White, a Registered Dietitian, left the field of dietetics to become the Office Manager for Reagan & André Architecture Studio in early 2019. She considers herself a local Houstonian (although not a direct path) and graduated from the University of Houston. As an office manager, Maggie is responsible for making things flow effortlessly, but her favorite part of being on the Reagan & André team is the opportunity to build and nurture relationships with her team of architects, the clients, the vendors, and learning about the fascinating world of architecture. When not coordinating the busy office of eight creatives, Maggie focuses on her family, the outdoors, cooking, and her love of animals.
Joel Lowery
Joel, a native Houstonian, has always had a strong admiration for the skill and creativity used by architects, this admiration led him to Texas Tech University where he received both his Bachelor’s and Masters of Architecture in 2004 and 2006 respectively. Before joining Reagan & André Architecture in 2014, Joel spent the early portion of his career working at another leading traditional residential firm in Houston where he developed a strong educational foundation in classical and traditional architecture. His experience includes both the design and management for various remodels and additions to historic Houston residences, as well as new residential projects.
While working on the design and implementation of traditional architectural guidelines at Reagan & André Architecture, the idea of family and design to the personality of the client was strongly emphasized in all aspects of a project. This concept has opened up a new avenue and appreciation for Joel in his architectural education and career.
Rabia Safdar
Rabia grew up with a fascination for science and an intuitive desire to create art. For her, architecture is the perfect harmony of these two interests. Rabia graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and then earned a Master of Architecture degree from Georgia Institute of Technology. As a Project Manager on the Reagan & André Architecture Studio team, she brings her analytical skills, as well as her love for finding creative solutions to design challenges to guide clients through the journey of creating their home. Beyond the office, Rabia enjoys water coloring, reading, and spending quality time with her three kids. She is a registered Architect in the State of Texas.
Michael Roeder
Michael Vincent Roeder, a native Houstonian, graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Houston in 2013. Shortly after graduation, he joined the RAA team where he brings to the office a fresh design aesthetic and acute attention to detail. His passion for residential architecture creates the opportunity for finding the identity and character of homes that are unique to each client.
Colette Rabitoy
Colette began at Reagan & André Architecture as a student intern during her college years. After being introduced to the world of residential architecture, she grew a passion for historic Architecture, building restoration and remodeling. She is strongly inspired by the unique potential that residential design holds for self-expression and is excited to help translate the clients personality into their home. She graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Houston and is actively pursuing an architectural license. When not studying, she enjoys discovering new cafés around Houston and feeding the turtles at her local pond.
Paulina Diaz
Inspired by her grandmother’s mid-century modern home in Mexico, Paulina knew she wanted to be an architect from a young age. She graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Houston in 2013, and began working in residential architecture. Over the course of her career she has gained a nuanced understanding of what makes a house a home. She loves being on the construction site, where she orchestrates architectural design coming to life on the field. Paulina joined the Reagan & André Architecture Studio team in 2022. She enjoys exploring the city’s restaurants and coffee shops with her husband, shopping for vintage furniture and collecting plants.
Joshua Carter
Josh is a passionate designer with a deep appreciation for the built environment. Drawn by the intimate scale of residential architecture, he joined the Reagan & André Architecture Studio team shortly after graduating from the University of Houston in 2024. His background in urban planning informs his understanding of how constraints can inspire innovative solutions, reinforcing his belief that every home should respond to the needs of its residents and immediate environment. Josh is particularly interested in exploring the potential of ornamentation and historical references within a modern design ethos.
In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, biking along the bayou, and admiring his cat, Tony.
Sarah Irvine
Sarah Irvine is a designer and creative director focused in content marketing. London-born, her initial outlet was writing and telling stories — now Texas-based, her skillset has evolved with multimedia and art direction. She is particularly inspired by exploring how art and architecture intersect with technology in today’s culture.
Sarah joined the Reagan & André Architecture Studio team in 2021 and has enjoyed every minute with this thoughtful and talented group. She creates or curates imagery for social media, designs the website, and executes our market strategy with an impactful aesthetic and strong brand voice.
Dave Steitz
A successful entrepreneur, Dave has started, managed, and sold companies, completed mergers and acquisitions, introduced new concepts and technologies, held executive positions and in general helped bridge the gap between the left and right brains as they apply to business.
