Riverbend Drive
The home is located in Houston’s Riverbend neighborhood spread over a double lot overlooking Buffalo Bayou. We were inspired to preserve a mid century modern style as the couple had family ties to the original home on the land.
The main living spaces are intentionally facing West to maximize views of the bayou and natural landscape. Floor-to-ceiling true corner windows with no posts also maximize views of the impeccably landscaped gardens. The exterior is contemporary yet elongated brick adds a nod to the original linearity of the mid century structure.
