The residence is located in Houston’s Museum District and the historic Shadyside neighborhood. The lot is bordered by an alley of oak trees and fronts the Beaux Arts styled Museum of Fine Arts Houston. The informal Italian inspired home is a simple square in plan and anchored by a two-story atrium with skylight. All rooms maintain views of the interior courtyard while a rooftop terrace offers vistas of the Mecom Fountain. The exterior is integral-color stucco with steel doors and windows and imported French clay roof tile.
